As I have posted before, each year around my Birthday I "try" and set a PR (personal record) in some exercise. And of course each year it gets a little more difficult. I have been thinking a bit about this year and I recently saw a youtube video of some Dumbbell Rows that got me thinking that this might be the move. This fellow did 175# x 33www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiH8BAK92YkMy Dumbbells only go to 100#, so I might go for 100# x 40 or 50 or some such. Since I don't recall ever using this action for any great weights, ANYTHING I do will be a record. Maybe 100# x 100 repsAnyone who wants to jump in is welcome. ;D This will be with NO Wrist Strap and be limited by my grip and of course strength.

Another option: Chins and weighted Chins.
I have NEVER in my weight training set a true CHIN or WEIGHTED CHIN PR.
The closest I came was 30 chins on the Chinning Bars in Venice (beside the WeightLifting Pen)
My Morning Routine used to be walk over to the Bars (I lived 1/2 block away) do 30 bodyweight chins, and 30 bodyweight dips and then Run to the Santa Monica Pier and back and do 30 more of each.
Of course I was 40# lighter than now ;D
So yesterday I rigged a very nice chinning bar to the top of my Power Rack, and am considering setting both my Bodyweight PR (I think I can work up to 30 or over at a much higher bodyweight) and set my Weighted Chin.
I even have an idea for a NEW CHIN, that I have never seen performed before.
