Thanks John for directing me to your site! Looks pretty cool. I've read lots that you've had to say on Dardens forum and now I can have fun reading what's on here and drive my wife and son crazy with talking about this site as well, ha ha.

==Scott== Hey John, I'm back for another visit. I guess I'm getting bored and agitated with the Darden forum so I'm taking a vacation from it. It just seems I'm at a dead end of learning anything new or usefull there? I'm courious as to how this board is doing? As you probably know I am a moderator of an Arthur Jones board and it's pretty much dead. Maybe one or two people post on it and they are getting tired of no participation as much as I am. I have considered killing it and starting a site like this but I'm sure if no one will go to a Jones site they sure as hell won't go to a site that I am the main attraction. That's pretty funny when you think about it. Do you get many people posting on this site regularily?

==Scott== Hey John, I'm back for another visit. I guess I'm getting bored and agitated with the Darden forum so I'm taking a vacation from it. It just seems I'm at a dead end of learning anything new or useful there? Hey Scott, Nice to see you. El's board is highly populated with members who have limited actual education or knowledge regarding the Strength Sciences, and more of an interest in "regurgitation" of the old Nautilus myths and Lay viewpoints. I don't find that unusual as I was of that group myself 30 some odd years ago. I assembled this forum to have a venue where I could do a little promotion of projects I am involved in, and "store/archive" all sorts of information, articles, and things I have written. I frankly have not promoted it as a discussion board, but welcome any discussions that takes place. It is more dedicated to a more comprehensive viewpoint and awareness of Strength Training Science, and to that end I generally don't allow any overly rude or immature behavior or language. Doesn't mean spirited substantive contentious exchange cannot take place, but it does mean we won't put up with abusive or fanatical posts. I think that may put off a few who prefer to post in a lesser style and content.

==Scott== Ok now I really feel idiotic, I can't remember or find which thread I asked you a question on about high and heavy reps? It was here: bioforce.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=stuff&action=display&thread=103Although there is NO generally accpeted standard defining what is "hard", "heavy", or even "high or low" when it comes to reps. It is generally all relative to the specific context.
